The impact of reputable journalism in the Central Valley does matter. For this reason, I am eager and ready to lead AMG Media Group and CVObserver as Editor-in-Chief.

CVObserver was an integral resource for the Guillermo Moreno Show on iHeart Media last year and it is an honor to continue the mission of delivering local, accurate, and in-depth reporting to the residents of the Central Valley seeking the inside scoop.

When I entered the political world I was told, “all politics is local,” and this is true. Discussions, debates, and decisions from Fresno City Council to school board meetings, among others, directly impact our lives. Although national and state news sources are readily available, honest and dependable local news without a narrative or publishing viewpoint is scarce.

CVO will not publish for the sake of writing content. If it happens, you will know about it.

This is why I commit to the following:

To our readership, expect consistent content and continue making CVO your stop for local news.

To our elected officials: CVO will ask the tough questions while being fair and respectful.

I look forward to this journey and building upon the hard work of Alex Tavlian and George Hostetter. As Editor-in-Chief, CVO will continue to be one of the most frequented sites for local news.

BRAVO! I just heard about CV Observer this morning on 96.7. News that is news. I appreciated the comment, “when it’s opinion, we tell you it’s our opinion.

Also, glad to see George Hostetter back reporting. He has been a solid newspaper fixture for years.
