Central Valley streets are safer because of the teamwork of DOJ’s High Impact Investigation Team (HIIT Team) removal of 30 pounds of methamphetamine and the arrest of 25 year old Guadalupe Garcia.
The Fresno Police Department reported that the drug bust occurred yesterday at 2:30 PM as a direct result of a month long investigation where undercover officers negotiated with drug traffickers from Mexico. Garcia was arrested during the buy bust operation where he transported and sold the drugs to detectives. Officers also had help from K-9 Officer Buster who was used to locate the narcotics in Garcia’s vehicle.
Garcia was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail for the possession for sale of illegal narcotics.
Great example of federal and local law enforcement working together to remove drugs from our Central Valley streets and everyone should be content.
Let’s be clear, local and federal law enforcement working together has not been encouraged by progressive liberal democrat lawmakers in California for many years. Sanctuary state status discourages local and federal law enforcement communication. Not in this case Guillermo, this is when the democrats are okay with teamwork.
Democrats cannot have it both ways by choosing when local and federal law enforcement can work together. Everyone wins when federal and local law enforcement communicate on every aspect of enforcing our laws.
Great job Fresno PD and HIIT.
